Playby of artificial arm: (a Celestial bronze version of) Adam Jensen's arm(s)
Description: Daxter is caucasian (a.k.a. white) and has dark brown hair and the same colour of eyes. He has an artificial Celestial bronze arm in the place of a right arm made out of flesh and blood. He stands at 5'8" or 1.73 m, he is quite slim and doesn't have a lot of muscle (nor fat). He always wears casual trousers such as jeans and goggles he got from his mother and almost always a dress shirt (for men) and gloves his mother had given to him.

Daxter is able to control and manipulate fire, but he didn't know before Camp Half-Blood. (I know it's rare and all, but fire is just... so beautiful )
Daxter finds out the purpose of machinery by either thinking about or touching it, and seeing a short video in his head which shows its purpose.
Arm: During a monster (hellhound) attack when he was 13 years old, Daxter his right arm got ripped of completely. His father created an artificial arm for him which wasn't covered by the mist so that Daxter's mother could attach and help her son with it.
Since Daxter is able to control technology it was just as useable as his real arm, if not more.
He never actually thinks about it in a negative way. He finds it cool to have. Although he has become more careful with his left arm around dogs, it hasn't really changed his attitude (towards dogs); probably this is because one of his own dogs who is large (however not as large as a hellhound) and black, just like the hellhound which had attacked him, prevented a phobia by being friendly towards Daxter.
His arm hides both a sword and crossbow within, but it can be modified to hold other weaponry or a shield, the maximum is two. His arm can stand both water and sand, but only for 24 hours, when it's been longer than 24 hours it will respond badly. Resulting in that if he goes swimming or goes to the beach he'll have to clean it afterwards.
Since a fully functional artificial arm stands out a little, his mother gave him gloves to cover it. Even at camp he often still wears them because it had become an habit.

Mortal Parent: Thalia Ross-Heijmans
Personality: Daxter is a very helpful person, he has a hard time saying no, sometimes causing him to push himself too far.
He does have times when he is not talkative at all which sometimes got to the point that people would think he was mute. Daxter is very practical and gets annoyed when people tell a lot of unnecessary information and don't get to the point quickly.
One of his favourite things to do is playing video games, if it were possible he'd play them all day long.
Daxter is ambidextrous (both left- and right-handed) and a very fast learner.
He has the habit of tapping his artificial arm when he's thinking which produces an annoying ticking noise.
Like all Hephaestus children, Daxter is very good with technology, building and repairing things.
Daxter is very fond of dogs, especially his own: a belgium shepard (Rick) and a border collie (Madock, not mad dog).
At school he's doing very well, especially with mathematics and physics. The lucky bastard doesn't suffer from dyslexia. He dreams of going to a technological university to study electrical engineering.
History: Thalia has always lived in the Netherlands and met Hephaestus in California when she was on a buisiness trip. They (already) had an international meeting about what would happen with the computer systems when they entered the year 2000. Hephaestus was secretely participating as well and came up with an idea in case the systems failed. Thalia was the first to join him, so in the beginning they were the only ones during meeting, creating a bond and seeing eachother outside work as well. Just before Thalia got pregnant, Hephaestus warned her about the future of their son, and who he was. Thalia understood and enjoyed the time she still had left with Hephaestus.
Daxter was born and raised in Haarlem, the Netherlands. His school life was close to that of a mortal child, the only difference being how hyperactive and easily distracted he was. Like normal children, he had friends, he had enemies; he was good at some subjects, he was bad at some subjects. He passed elementary school normally and went to the highest level of high school (VWO) which he's currently in at the moment (the school system's different from the US and Canada).
His mother had started to work less so she could take care of Daxter, she still earned enough money to live though.
Daxter's relationship with his mother is very positive, they've always loved and cared about eachother. When Daxter had just entered high school, his mother had gotten married with his class supervisor, mr. Heijmans, whom she had been dating for a few years. Daxter found it quite weird, but he did get a close bond with him, yet he still calls him 'mr. Heijmans' but he means and uses it as a nickname, not formality.
When Daxter was still in first grade, when he was 13 years old, he encountered his first monster; a hellhound. When Daxter was walking the dogs together with mr. Heijmans, they suddenly got attacked. The hellhound was able to tear off Daxter's arm before it was killed by mr. Heijmans, who was a satyr. He hadn't told Daxter anything nor shown his legs. He told Daxter that it was just a large dog. When Daxter got out of the hospital, he got his new arm with his mother saying "Your father is very special, you'll find out later." and that he'd go to a summercamp in the USA as soon as possible. Daxter was too excited about his new arm and the camp to think of who his father was, so that never became a problem for his mother. They all started saving money for the trip to New York, despite the fact that they had saved enough money when he was 14 years old, he and mr. Heijmans flew to America when Daxter had already reached the age of 15 due to problems with getting a visum. During those years mr. Heijmans had slain multiple monsters who were trying to attack Daxter, but Daxter had never really noticed, he always got to know what the mortals got to know such as 'fires' or 'gas leaks'. Dexter had continued school normally since the attack of the hellhound and recovery Took place during spring break.
